On February 27th 2024, Lonestar became the first company in the world to demonstrate commercial DRaaS from the surface of the Moon and Cislunar space with the successful test of our Independence payload.

Our next payload to the Moon, Freedom, is scheduled to fly later this year.

Independence and Freedom will be followed by a series of purpose-built lunar orbiting data storage spacecraft with the first launching in 2026.
