The Edge is all about pushing hardware and workloads out to where the data is being collected in remote locations with little connectivity back to the core data center.

Lonestar has successfully run edge computing from the International Space Station (2021) and from the surface of the Moon (2024). Our next mission in 2025 is composed of both hardware and software: the first physical data center offplanet. 

 

For this we’ve built an interactive development environment that  mimics the lunar environment.  We’re opening  it up as a developer network for interested parties  to testing their apps in a real world environment..
